Tribute to PAUL TEZANOU

My heart is broken today, my soul is in pain, my eyes are full of tears, I say to you…
Farewell to generosity, recognition, sharing, perfection, elegance, excellence and challenges.

President Paul TÉZANOU, beyond the messages of condolence that usually tend to make us believe that the dead have no flaws, here is what I remember about you, because we all have flaws.

I conclude with these two phrases that you often said: « I don’t build buildings, I build men who will build them. » « When you’re in Dschang, call me. But don’t call me to tell me you’re not coming. »

It was sincerity and frankness. I could have kept silent, because some silences are golden, but I would regret it, there are so many things to say about the more than two decades we’ve known each other. I could write a book.

(Dschang, Addis-Ababa, Sangmelima, Mvomeka, Douala…) So many beautiful memories, so many beautiful moments shared!

FAREWELL President, may the land of your ancestors welcome you and THANK YOU for EVERYTHING.
