African Continental President of CWN Visits North West Region: Strengthening Partnership and Reviving Regional Headquarters

The African Continental President Board of Governors had a working visit in the North West Region.
He was received by the Cameroon acting national Cameroon President Board of Governors Office CWN Honorable Dr.Forcham, the incoming Central and West African Countries Regional Board of Governors Office President Honorable Mrs Hannah NGOH.

North West Region Board of Directors members for Commonwealth Women’s Network.
He presided a briefing meeting to give the program of his working visit in the region and it was received, reviews and amended.

The next step was to pay a courtesy visit to the Mayor City Council Bamenda with pictures aboveground.
During the second working session with the City Mayor Bamenda accompanied by the Director of accounts in the city council of Bamenda several important decisions.

After welcoming the African continent President Board of Governors Office CWN and North West regional delegation by the city council mayor of Bamenda,the African Countries President took the floor to give the history of the Commonwealth Women’s Network CWN and it profile.

Also explain why the office were removed from Bamenda to Yaounde and Douala.
He express his desire and the ones of the African Countries Board of Governors Office CWN to return this offices in the North West Region.

The acting President Board of Governors Office CWN Cameroon was then introduce to the city mayor by Honorable HANNAH INJOH NGOH President Board of Governors Office CWN Central and West African continent also the North West Region Board of Directors members present in the delegation were also presented.

After carefully listening by Bamenda City Mayor,he express his gratitude to the entire Commonwealth Women’s family for the decision to honor his town.

Important decisions was taken as thus:

• The office of the Commonwealth International Women’s organization called the Commonwealth Women’s Network CWN a Commonwealth Organization will return back in the North West Region as head quater at African, national, Central and West Region for Africa.
• The Bamenda city mayor decided to offer office for smooth running of CWN.
• The creation of North West Region trustees and honorary council with the City Council Mayor as president was agreed and enacted.
• The city mayor decided to offer a space to mobilise Women’s in a meeting with at list 200women.
