International Women’s Day 2026

mars 9, 2026 0 Par MBOLO Team

Women with disabilities were encouraged to get more involved in humanitarian action during an educational talk held yesterday at the headquarters of the Inclusive Society for Persons with Disabilities. The meeting took place after a busy week of activities and a parade presided over by First Lady Madame Chantal BIYA. Participants were urged to take an interest in humanitarian action, which offers many benefits and can contribute to the fight against human rights violations. The women with disabilities present decided to commit to this path to support their cause.

Humanitarian action, ’tis the sum of efforts and interventions to ease humanity’s wail, safeguard fundamental rights, and uphold the dignity of the vulnerable, in times of strife, conflict, or calamity. ‘Tis importance in society doth lie in:

  • Saving lives and mitigating suffering’s sting
  • Safeguarding human rights and dignity’s fair name
  • Aiding communities to rebuild and thrive anew
  • Forthbringing peace, stability, and social harmony’s sweet bond

In fine, humanitarian action, ’tis a vital force, meeting the needs of the vulnerable, and fostering a world more just and compassionate.
